Cold Shoulder Stripes & Grey
I honestly don’t know how I haven’t jumped on this “cold shoulder” bandwagon sooner. I’m not sure what it is, but you can be completely covered up head to toe ( like this outfit I had on) and just that tiny bit of skin makes you feel so cute and dare I say.. sassy? lol. No but seriously though I really think they’re a great transitional style going into spring. I wanted to pair it with darker pieces cause although the weather doesn’t feel like it sunny adz it still is only February but I totally plan n wearing this into the summer with like a good pair of white shorts maybe? I guess we’ll see soon enough.
Bell Rock Sedona Photography session
For my 21st birthday which was also my golden birthday, I wanted only wanted one thing. I wanted to go up to Sedona ( luckily only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Scottsdale). Stay at the L’auberge Hotel and get gorgeous pictures taken by the amazing David Sunfellow. Luckily, my dreams came true. When I was planning what I wanted my husband and myself to wear I knew I wanted to go with something with a more editorial feel. I didn’t want it to seem bridal. We’ve been married 2 1/2 years I figure the time for white has passed lol. Also the location is so dramatic and beautiful I wanted to be equally as dramatic so I had to go with black ( I almost wore a crown no joke! lol #GothicPrincessVibes ). Believe it or not I actually narrowed this gallery down to this many pictures. Originally I had about 250 to choose from. I know theres nobody that wants to see that many pics of me and I don’t blame them.
I hope hope you guys enjoy these pictures as much as I do!

So today I wanted to share with you my products I use on a daily basis and can not function without. All these products are gluten free yes, but they are great either way. Yes, having celiac I have to make sure all my beauty products are gluten free as well as my food but these are products that I even recommend to people that can do gluten. Your definitely going to notice a pattern here. There’s going to be a lot of Tarte and Too Faced products and there is a good reason for that. They are completely gluten free ( with maybe one or to exceptions but its really easy to find out which ). Their very popular and widely carried, if I have the option I really don’t like getting makeup online ( colors can be different, powders can brake, ect..). Also they’re good quality products that makeup gurus even love when they can use any brand they want! Without further adieu, lets get into it.
Okay, so im going to go in the order that I personally apply them.
- Too Faced Hangover primer ( really great and hydrating)
- Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Foundation ( light-medium Sand )
- Tarte Shape Tape concealer ( Fair-Neutral )
- Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer ( Milk chocolate- Light/medium)
- Tarte naughty Nudes Amazonian Clay 12hour blush ( Seduce )
- Urban Decay All Nighter setting Spray
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer ( Carmel )
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel ( Brunette )
- Tarte Tartlette in Bloom Clay Eye Shadow pallet
- Cover FX perfect pencil ( n X-Light )
- Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint mascara ( this is the one im currently using but the Too Faced one linked below is my favorite )
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Olive green and Vegan Leather
Hello everybody! I’ve been trying to squeeze in the last of my ”Wintery” looks while I still can ( umm hi, it was like 75 degrees outside today ). So you know a girl had to get in some more use of these thigh highs. I loved this combo cause it screams military chic! Also I am loving this bag that I got C/O IMOSHION. They’re all vegan leather, the quality is top notch, and as you can see they are so cute! Something I particularly like about the fact that they are vegan leather other than the fact no animals get hurt is that they are everything you want in a stylish leather bag but they aren’t nearly as heavy! No shoulder aches for this ginger. This is another top from Shein (obviously) you just really cant beat how cute and inexpensive they are. And these sleeves, come on.
Okay, we’re throwing it way back for this post. It is Thursday after all. Our trip to New Zealand/Australia was in November of 2015 but I figured hey, you lovely people would probably still love to hear about it cause it was my best vacation I’ve had to date! This trip has to be set up into a few separate diaries. There is a LOT to cover ( we were gone a total of 18 days) and I think 2 different countries and a lot of adventures probably warrants few posts or else this one would be really long and who really has the kind of time to read something like that? lol
To start I’m going to just throw off the main facts then ill go into details. This trip we flew into Auckland, NZ via New Zealand Air. It wasn’t direct we had to stop and change plain in LAX which wasn’t so bad because they’re international terminal is amazing. We stayed at the Skycity Grand Hotel in Auckland. I highly recommend it. The location is great, it’s clean, and it’s great price! Side note: They had a pillow menu ( no extra charge) I went for the lavender and trust me you should to. We arrived mid morning so we went to the hotel to drop off our things and freshen up, aka wash the 15 hours of travel time off. We didn’t have anything booked on our arrival day so it was time to explore and just take in the city.
The next morning we got up early , picked up our rental car and drove to Waitomo for our Glow Worm Cave and Black Water Rafting Tours. This has been on my bucket list since I’ve been a little girl. It did not disappoint! We had two different tours back to back. The first was the glow worm cave tour ( find out more details about it HERE). The second was the Black Labyrinth rafting tour ( find more details for this one HERE ). I literally could go on and on….and on for hours about this whole day. It was the best experience ever and I will cherish the memories always. YOU HAVE TO GO!!!
Before we boarded our ship the next day we went up and saw the view from the Skytower. It’s very high up and for those that don’t enjoy heights like my poor husband, you will not like this. Next we were off to sail. We cruised via Celebrity Cruises on the Celebrity Solstice . Our Cruise itself was 12 nights and docked at 8 different ports. Jam packed I know, that was my favorite thing about being able to cruise majority of this trip. It was so easy to go to so many locations cause you mainly travel in your sleep ( best way to travel in my eyes). And you don’t have to be constantly switching hotels or worrying about luggage.
Another big worry for me leading up to this trip was food because, As you may or may not know I have celiac disease which means absolutely NO GLUTEN. This was my first international trip since being diagnosed so I really wasn’t to sure how dining situations were going to work. Knowing that the dining team onboard was well aware of my needs and knowing they had tons of GF options for me on board was a total life saver. I knew I could always have somewhere safe to eat no matter what the situations on land may be.
This is where I’m going to leave this post off ladies and gents. I think I’ve rambled on enough lol. I cant wait to share more of my wonderful experiences on the Australian cotenant with you guys! More coming soon.
Shorts & Stripes
So I have to admit, times like these are reasons I love living in Arizona. Where else are you able to wear shorts in February? When I got this top in the mail I just couldn’t wait to wear it! I’m a sucker for clothing with interesting details. How New York of me right? These sleeves are belled and have bows so this top was a must! It came from SHEIN aka. my new favorite store! so affordable and sooo many options. My initial reaction was to pair it with my go to jeans but I was like “No Esther! change it up a little and do something outside of your comfort zone!’ So here’s where I landed. I love these Zara shorts I got in the fall. the belt double wraps and crisscrosses in the front ( another interesting detail … ) They’re also a great length to!
Casual Valentine’s day Look
Now don’t get me wrong, this is by no means a relax around casual look. But usually valentines day/night is a time that pretty much everyone gets decked to the nines whether their plans are a fancy date night or something fun with their girlfriends. So this, in comparisons to that standard is a casual look.
This pink shirt from Shein is so fun and I just thought it would be such a cute look for Valentines Day. I mean, it is girlie and pink after all! My sister took these shots for me and a way she kept describing the top as “flirty”. What more could you want? Now normally I probably wouldn’t pair red accessories with pink butttt…. It Is V-day after all so why not completely get in the spirit? I’ve had these Valentino pimps for a while now and they are super comfortable! Surprising I know, they don’t look it. But even more surprising, this clutch isn’t Valentino! Doesn’t it just match perfectly? I found it in a store called Love Culture shortly after getting the shoes and had to have it. I love a good set.
To me this look would be really great for a daytime or more laid back V-day date. I don’t know about anyone else but sometimes I’m just really not in the mood for a dress so I think its great to have alternatives, that way your not frantically tearing your closet apart trying to figure out a new outfit cause you changed your mind last minute. ( speaking from personal experience lol )
I hope you all have a wonderful safe holiday. Let me know what you plan on wearing!
Floral & Laced bodysuit
Guess what everybody?!? I joined Bloglovin’ WOO HOO! I really love Bloglovin’ and I’m so happy to now have my very own blog on there so please make sure to go on and follow me on there too. On to the outfit details now, I like this particular bodysuit for many reasons, the first of which I mentioned before. Bodysuits there really neat and comfy and stay perfectly “tucked in” , but this one has many more things to love. It has a super cute lace up back so it shows a bit of skin which is nice, its in a great floral print , and maybe the best thing yet… It was 15 dollars from forever 21!!! Bet you wouldn’t have guessed that! I plan on wearing it so much in the transitional weather fazes cause I love it with jeans and my Ash sneakers but I also think its going to look great with skirts and sandals in the spring. Yes, Arizona springs are skirt and sandal weather. For right now though ill be living in jeans and long sleeves for as long as I possibly can.

Valentines day Round up
Valentines day is fast approaching ( a little to fast if you ask me). Seriously, wasn’t it just 2016??? Don’t get me wrong though I LOVE V-Day. Its a fun day where you get to get all dressed up, get flowers and chocolates, and get to feel special. Sign me up! I’m rounding up some of my favorite products in preparation. From the scents I plan on wearing to lip colors and shoes. Lets jump right in!
Lets start with my favorite. SHOES! Typical girl I know. As you all know I’m a leopard kind of girl so when I saw THESE puppies show up on my instagram feed from LOLA’S Shoetique I was like YES! Honestly I like that they’re super affordable so you don’t have to commit to a luxury purchase of something that’s a little less versatile than lets say, a black pump. But you still get all the fun of wearing them for valentines.
I personally would pair those shoes with something pretty plain but still stunning and sexy that’s y I love THIS black dress from Lulu’s. I think its a great length and maybe unlike the shoes you are going to get tons of wear out of this dress even after V-day. It’s a great staple piece.
If your looking for something a little different for your evening, THIS House of CB bandage dress is the one for you. I love that its baby pink so it has the valentines day feel without being to over the top. Not to mention these bandage dresses fit great. Showing off all the right curves in all the right places! I’d style this with your favorite pair of classic need heels.
