Belize City, Belize
So if you clicked on this post chances are you have a general idea about what ( or more like where ) we are going to be talking about in this post. Belize city, Belize.
Belize truly has so much to offer especially when it come to shore excursions. It was hard for me to pick what I wanted to do the most while we were here. From Mayan ruin adventures to scuba diving the Great Blue Hole you have tons of really fun options to choose from. I’m not a very good scuba diver. I tried once many years ago in Hawaii and failed miserably! So as much as I wanted to dive the Great Blue Hole, it really wasn’t an option for us lol. But that didn’t take away from how amazing our time was however, because Belize is home to the second biggest barrier reef in the world and we spent the day snorkeling it. It was so beautiful and we got to see tons of marine life on and around the reef.
We continued on after snorkeling to a little island named Caye Caulker. Thats where we had lunch in a cute little restaurant named Fantasy that was along the beach. Thats were I met the little iguana seen it the picture below. After lunch we got back on our little speed boat and we drove about 10 minutes away to a place called Shark Ray Alley. It kind of speaks for itself. I swam with tons of nurse sharks, some sting rays, and even a sea turtle. All and all it was an amazing experience. We had a wonderful day filled with beautiful warm water, tons of marine life, and fun adventures.
I’d like to start off by wishing a happy belated Mother’s Day to all you mama’s out there. Hope everyone had a lovely day yesterday with family and fun!
Neutrals & a Pop of Animal Print
My love of leopard is REAL! I’ve always been a huge leopard fan. Not really animal prints as a whole but show me a good piece in a cheetah print and I am all about it!!! I thought bit looked great cause this look gave me total safari vibes.
Floral Shift Dress with Bell Sleeves
We’re are now home from our vacay ( expect to see some of those posts coming up soon!) I had a wonderful time and cant wait to gush about it to you guys.
I’m a little bit jet lagged and a huge bit exhuasted so I’m glad I was able to pre shoot this beautiful dress for you guys to see!
This dress is seriously the perfect fit! Typically this cut of anything doesn’t suit my body type well. Thats why I was so pleasantly surprised when I slipped this one on and actually love how it looked.
If the bell sleeves aren’t enough, which believe me they usually are the back of this dress was really my favorite part. The tie detail! I cant get enough I love anything with bows. The floral print is gorgeous too. Its also nice and light which I’m sure you all know by now, is a summer requirement for me. The description online said its “breezy” and I couldn’t agree more.
Floral & Ruffle Wrap Dress
I have to admit, usually I’m not a big fun of dresses. On other people I think they are adorable but on me, not so much. This one though is Perfect!
Straw Hat & Stripes
So if my calculations are correct while your reading this I will be at Chichen Itza! It’s dream come true thats for sure. One day I want to have gone to all the natural and modern wonders of the world so I’m so happy to be checking this one off. I’m a gal with big plans if you can’t tell lol.
