Denim Cutoffs & Lace Trimmed top
No your eyes aren’t deceiving you. I really did go out and buy the Marc Fisher wedges in another color lol. I cant help it though when you find a great pair of shoes that you just know your gunna live in is it really so wrong to buy multiples? Well if it is I don’t want to be right!
Spring Style: Off the Shoulder top & White Shorts
Ok so the sunflowers aren’t really necessary to make this look, but I do have to say that pop of yellow!!! I loved how it looked with the navy and yes I carried them around with me all day. Don’t judge.
Spring Style: High Neck & Denim Dress
I am definitely a creature of habit and when I find an item or trend that I really love, I ride the wave as long as possible. i.e these wedges that I spoke about in THIS blog post. Spoiler alert: You’ll be seeing them a lot all summer long lol. This dress is such a cute shape and I love that its denim because everything will match it. And its super affordable so the cost per wear is excellent. Who doesn’t like that?!
Spring Style: Pink Floral Tank
I have to admit as reluctant as I’ve been to let winter go, I have really been enjoying seeing all the colorful spring styles. Even though sunny AZ skipped right over spring and went straight into summer ( It’s been in the 90’s all week ). When it starts to get this hot It’s a perfect excuse to shop for a whole new wardrobe! Wear a sweater when its 95 out? No thanks, this fun tank I got in Old Navy is a much better way to go!
Floral, Fringe, and Flare
If I’m being totally honest, I’ve never totally been a huge fan of flared jeans. In my head, they always kind of seemed like something you’d wear as a costume to a 70’s party. Boy was I wrong! I recently saw Little Miss Fashion Queen in a pair and I thought to myself “You know what, why don’t you just give them a try Esther?”. I couldn’t be happier that I did. It’s a great way to switch up your wardrobe and they are EXTREMELY flattering. Mine are Paige denim and I got them in Nordstrom Rack on an impulse buy but they’re are tons of great ones on the market right now (I’ll link some I love bellow).
New Zealand Travel Diary part 2
After leaving Auckland we sailed through the night and arrived the next morning to Bay of Islands , NZ. I have to admit this was one of the locations that wasn’t really on my radar when it came to places I was most excited to visit. That’s what made this stop so special I think, I was unexpectedly blown away. It was GORGEOUS, like cant even put it into words/pictures don’t even do it justice kind of gorgeous. We booked THIS tour through Viator that cruises you up to the beautiful “Hole in the rock” then stops off and you can get out and explore Urupukapuka Island. Here we took are shoes off and went into to crystal water and chased a sting ray. ( seen in pics bellow ) Overall the whole trip we ended up seeing Killer Whales/Orcas , dolphin’s, and some sting rays that the orcas where actually there to eat. Crazy thing to watch, it was like discovery channel live!
Cold Shoulder Stripes & Grey
I honestly don’t know how I haven’t jumped on this “cold shoulder” bandwagon sooner. I’m not sure what it is, but you can be completely covered up head to toe ( like this outfit I had on) and just that tiny bit of skin makes you feel so cute and dare I say.. sassy? lol. No but seriously though I really think they’re a great transitional style going into spring. I wanted to pair it with darker pieces cause although the weather doesn’t feel like it sunny adz it still is only February but I totally plan n wearing this into the summer with like a good pair of white shorts maybe? I guess we’ll see soon enough.
Bell Rock Sedona Photography session
For my 21st birthday which was also my golden birthday, I wanted only wanted one thing. I wanted to go up to Sedona ( luckily only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Scottsdale). Stay at the L’auberge Hotel and get gorgeous pictures taken by the amazing David Sunfellow. Luckily, my dreams came true. When I was planning what I wanted my husband and myself to wear I knew I wanted to go with something with a more editorial feel. I didn’t want it to seem bridal. We’ve been married 2 1/2 years I figure the time for white has passed lol. Also the location is so dramatic and beautiful I wanted to be equally as dramatic so I had to go with black ( I almost wore a crown no joke! lol #GothicPrincessVibes ). Believe it or not I actually narrowed this gallery down to this many pictures. Originally I had about 250 to choose from. I know theres nobody that wants to see that many pics of me and I don’t blame them.
I hope hope you guys enjoy these pictures as much as I do!
